USING THE CAROLINA AND TEXAS RIG WITH BAIT BUTTONS

CAROLINA AND TEXAS RIG

Whether you are fishing with a Carolina rig with the weight attached above the hook or a Texas rig where the weight slides down to the hook a Bait Button will help keep the plastic worm from sliding down the hook or tearing as the bait is bounced along the bottom. If you are using a hook that has a off-set angle behind the eye of the hook you can lock the head of the worm securely by placing a Bait Button into the off-set bend prolonging the life of the plastic. Fishing each bait longer and saving you money.
